OUR PROGRAM on March 14th, 2017
If you were not at our meeting on Tuesday, you missed a real treat. The students from Emerald Middle School treated us to several performances ranging from singing, to flamenco music, to a piano solo and finally to several TED talks. All of them did an outstanding job!
A huge congratulations to Shirley Simmons for being awarded her second Paul Harris Fellow award today!

Announcements & Happy 5"s
Stu Scott - Stu announced that our club "Work Day" will be held at his house on Saturday, April 15, 2017. We will be building picnic tables for distribution to local non-profits. This is a great opportunity to get together and have a lot of fun with your friends in the club.
Cheryl Minshew - Cheryl was thrilled to report that, after way too long, she was finally able to play tennis for the first time this past week. Sheryl, we all wish you the best in your continued recovery.
Charlie Cole -Charlie announced the need for everyone to begin helping with the auction. The auction will be on June 3rd at the Elks Lodge in El Cajon. This is a "family friendly" event and kids are highly encouraged to attend. Bring your friends.
Tickets will be $60 for adults, except Max. His will be $80, and $20 for kids under 12.We need you to:

Roger Huepchen - Roger asked that everyone help him out with donations for the Walk-A-Thon being held by the Pregnancy Care Clinic.
Ramona Bommer - Ramona thanked everyone for helping her celebrate her 30th birthday last week. She had a ball!
Sean Bradford - Sean shared with everyone about his recent 5 day trip to Orlando. While there, he viewed "The Jesus Film", and explained to us the impact of this film. He explained to us that 10 men, who were previously Taliban fighters, had viewed the film, put down their weapons, and come the Christ. What a powerful message! We all need to watch this film.
Carol Quidort - Carol told us all how much fun she had gong jeeping with Stu and Bonnie at their river house this past month. You just can't help but have fun when you are with Stu and Bonnie.
